Henry and Mudge and Around the Pond

Think about the two stories Henry and Mudge and Around the Pond. Compare and contrast them. How are these stories alike and how are they different? Think about the characters, the setting, and what the characters do.

Examples:

1. Both stories take place outside.
2. William has a sister and Henry does not.

  1. Henry and Mudge and Around the Pond are very similar stories. They both take place outside and the characters take long walks in nature. In both stories, the characters have dogs. They also both find a lot of other animals while exploring. They are different because Henry and Mudge go camping, but Cammy and William do not. Cammy and William are going blueberry picking, but Henry and Mudge are just going hiking. They are also different because William has a sister and Henry does not.
